Breakout Session at BASA Fall Conference
Two years ago, Ohio’s public school superintendents kicked off a grassroots initiative to provide their citizens with a stronger voice in shaping statewide education policy. With the fate of policy initiatives bringing Ohio into compliance with the federally mandated Every Student Succeeds Act currently hanging in the balance, the Ohio Public School Advocacy Network is working to provide a unified voice in bringing local control back to Ohio’s schools. On October 4 at a breakout session of the Fall Conference of the Buckeye Association of School Administrators, a panel of superintendents will share and discuss what is being done in each of their districts to mobilize public support for the initiative.
