Trying to Make Good Decisions

Earlier in my career, I worked in Ohio as a political consultant for candidates seeking state and federal office.  I also served as a government relations executive for an Ohio-based Fortune 500 company.  One of the most important things I gained from this experience is a high level of respect for the vast majority of our elected officials.  They have a difficult job.  In fact, the political environment today is much more challenging than it was back then.  I continue to believe that most of our government officials are trying to make good decisions and welcome responsible feedback from the citizens they serve.
